Meet Our Founder
Dr. Susan Sanderson is the founder of Family Life Counseling and Psychological Services, LLC. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri at St. Louis after completing an internship at the St. Louis Veterans Administration. Her post-doctoral training included specialization in child sexual abuse at the Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis.
Healing Through Understanding
Dr. Sanderson enjoys forming collaborative relationships with her clients, supporting their innate ability to grow toward health and overall well-being. Her warm and compassionate approach is focused on finding the causes of symptoms, and helping clients identify the changes that will lead to healing. Dr. Sanderson’s present focus is psychological evaluations for parents involved in custody disputes. Dr. Sanderson and her husband have resided in St. Charles County since 1993. They have two daughters and they enjoy spending time outdoors.
