Holistic & Strength-Based Care
Cory is eclectic and uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered approaches to individuals aged eight and up. A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how the mind, spirit, and body are interconnected. Her theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change. Cory has a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach that allows her clients and their families to feel at ease immediately. She uses a strengths-based, humorous, integrative approach to empower her clients.Â
Cory is also a trained mediator specializing in parenting plans and provides Co-parenting counseling.Â
